Kalliopeia Foundation

From time to time Kalliopeia takes on special projects, outside of our regular grantmaking program. Currently we have two. Our full support of The Global Oneness Project grows from a need to better understand what oneness means to people from different walks of life around the world, and how we might further develop our programming based on what we learn. Our full support of the Bayview Hunters Point Community Fund, a project of the Tides Center, grows out of the opportunity to contribute to a youth focused program of evolving community wellness within our local region.

The Global Oneness Project is a web-based video initiative which seeks to inspire dialogue about new ways of working in our interconnected world. We are traveling worldwide, filming interviews with people from a variety of disciplines, as they share their stories and insights about ways of approaching life from a non-dualistic perspective.

The mission of the Bayview Hunters Point Community Fund (BVHPCF) is to support programs within San Francisco’s Bayview Hunters Point community which are actively engaged in youth development activities that strengthen young people, promote sustained community wellness, and work together to create innovative solutions to community problems. BVHPCF provides general support grants and capacity building assistance in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, and youth development.
