Apply for a GrantGrant Application Process

Letters of Inquiry

Kalliopeia welcomes Letters of Inquiry from organizations interested in applying for a grant. After careful review, we invite organizations that align closely with our mission and meet our grantmaking criteria to submit a full grant proposal. Kalliopeia reviews proposals by invitation only.

A Few Words About Our Proposal Review Process

Kalliopeia Foundation accepts full proposals by invitation only. After reading your Letter of Inquiry, if we feel your organization meets our criteria, we will invite you to submit a full proposal.

Our staff and board review proposals every one to two months; however, please note that our calendars are sometimes full several months ahead, and it can take as long as six months to review a proposal. In reading a proposal, we consider how the organization's work fits with our grantmaking goal and programs, along with the grantmaking criteria listed in the grant information page.

We welcome any questions you may have about the process or timing of your proposal review. Please address questions to info@kalliopeia.org.
